Health and safety to protect your school, staff and students

Our School Safe© health and safety program meets the Ministry of Education Code of Practice guidelines and was designed specifically to cope with education facilities' unique needs and risks.

With this health and safety system in place you'll minimise the risk of accident and serious injury at your school. You'll also be fully compliant with current health and safety regulations, including HSNO and fire safety. This means that if the worst should happen, your school will be less likely to face legal proceedings and bad press.

The School Safe© program includes an audit process to spot areas of non-compliance. Your Salus workplace safety advisor will work with you to resolve these issues, and lay down benchmarks to help with future assessments. If required, we can also share our findings with the board of trustees, management and staff.
